Ah, the beautiful tropical island paradise of Bermuda!

Whutta life!

Now, I'm from the West Coast, so all I knew about Bermuda before I moved to Florida was that it was one of the Caribbean Islands.  You know, like... 

Bodies in the sand  
Tropical drink melting in your hand  
We'll be falling in love  
To the rhythm of a steel drum band  
Down in Kokomo. 

Aruba, Jamaica, ooh, I wanna take you 
to BERMUDA, Bahama, come on pretty mama  
Key Largo, Montego, baby why don't we go...

Know what I'm talkin' 'bout? 

The question is whether you'd be able to pick out Bermuda on a map of the Caribbean Islands: 

Not quite as easy as it looks, is it?  That was certainly the conundrum I was faced with the first time I actually tried to find it on a map like the above.  Where the hell is it!

Well, the easy solution is to haul out GoogleMaps, do a search and find that rascal:

So which Caribbean Island could that possibly be?  Cuba?  The Bahamas?  Jamaica?

No!

It's the Caribbean Island of North Carolina!

If you were ever looking to define the word "generous", including Bermuda in the Caribbean Islands would certainly work.

Frankly, I'm surprised Iceland didn't claim it.
